Zach Malchano

Founder and CEO

Zach Malchano is a dynamic and hands-on leader with extensive technical expertise. He has played pivotal roles as a founder, early team member, and leader in multiple venture-backed medical device startups, demonstrating a proven track record in developing successful strategies, building high-performing teams, and creating value during the critical early stages of innovation.

Zach holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. He is also an alumnus of the Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Zach has contributed to the development of the Harvard Medical School HealthTech Program. Currently, he advises several venture-backed med tech companies, leveraging his experience and insights.

Zach is an inventor with more than 45 issued US patents and has successfully licensed technology from leading universities.
